The Low Tube adapter follows the pattern of the factory stock, dropping the buttstock's elevation slightly to allow the use of iron sights. The High Tube adapter follows the AR-15's straight stock line, and comes with a section of M1913/Picatinny rail that sits over the receiver for mounting optics. Both adapters come with accessory mounting points on both sides for attaching extra rails, sling swivels, or shell carriers (all sold separately). Factory iron or bead sights cannot be used with the high adapter.
